New Zealand Mint has paid homage to our fun-loving Great Dane and his mystery-solving friends with this Mystery Machine shaped $2.00 Silver coin. The obverse of the coin features a mirror finish with frosted engraving of the Scooby-Doo characters with the Niue (Knee-oo-ay) coat of arms on the side of the Mystery Machine. It also has the copyright date of 2023 and states that the coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver. The reverse of the coin features Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred in the Mystery Machine in full color. The coin measures 2 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" tall. Only 3,000 of these limited edition coins were made. The coin comes in a box that features the gang in the Mystery Machine. The front of the box says The Mystery Machine 1 oz Silver Collectible Coin. Pure Silver! The back of the box features a smaller picture of the gang in the Mystery Machine surrounded by villains and has a similar pattern to Mystery Machine. It lists all of the specifications of the coin and has the certificate of authenticity.
